Using the a created typeface on a series of posters... This is what i want to do

 A series of posters.. I want my ministry of sound posters all look in a set yet be really different..

I think how to do this is to keep the same layout yet use random backgrounds or images.

 For my ministry of sound brief I want to make a type face then apply this to the posters for the event. I think I will use the typeface for the 'saturday sessions' subheading then create a similar layout for all of the posters.. Yet use different backgrounds.

Ministry of Sound ideas.. I like the idea of playing around with print processes and editing type so I might use this and create my own font.

  With it being the cafe there are handmade cakes on show like this, therefore I could design on the cabinet and also the labels for the cakes.

 Also the wall art would be good to design! I would like to do this.. 

  

 An open and closed sign! After having this idea I think I will use the laser cutter to create a design.

I dont really want mine to be like this as I do want to have a warmer feeling to the designs, however I want my packages to work altogether as a series. 

 I want to design the shop window for Betty Browns as well as the wall art. 

Screen printing

For the Ministry of Sound brief I want to create loads of experiements and play around in screen printing.. I really want to create in your face eye catching posters so I may play around with crazy colours.

Idea! .. 

I am thinking of mapping out the places of which Ministry of Sound is on the map and making a sort of dot to dot. I want to do this to make a background pattern for the posters.

These are some of my favourite design ideas for the ministry of sound brief.. 

I really like the slight thin lines around the photograph of the girl in these posters.

I have chosen the Ministry of Sound brief from D&AD briefs as I want to experiment with type and layout more and also the printing methods.

I quite like this idea of using type layout as the main attraction of the poster. However I think it needs to be more eye catching than this. 

Screen printing etc could be where this brief goes and experiment with different printing methods and see what I can come up with.

 

Logo Design.. 

I want to create something with the personality of these designs, quite an old fashioned style yet modern take on it. Also I would like mine to be a bit more feminine.
